Major Improvements

The first improvement concerns the shape of the openings in the cartridge valve housing. This has been changed from a rectangular to a diamond shape. As a result, the ribs are now positioned at an angle, so that they can never completely obstruct the inlet and exhaust air openings in the valve block, thereby ensuring a better and more uniform air flow.

The second improvement relates to the poppet: instead of an O-ring running in the aluminium housing, the seal is now achieved with a piston sealing ring. This results in smoother action with better repeatability, and the service life of the cartridge valve is prolonged.
