As Thailand’s leading container glass supplier, BG, Bangkok Glass Public Company Ltd., provides the latest packaging solutions produced with cutting-edge technology and innovation.

During our annual review meeting, the management team from Bangkok Glass and Heye International evaluated the key performance figures and looked to the future.

Improvements have been realised and high productivity levels reached in all major areas. The joint team is looking forward to continuing its collaboration and has set new targets.

During November, a team of Heye experts travelled to four Asian countries to introduce the latest and most successful innovations from Heye’s think tank.

Under the motto „Smart solutions for your glass plant“ the team invited customers in Japan, South Korea, Philippines and Thailand to receive an update on latest technologies for the container glass industry and to hear best practice examples. Networking and an exchange of experience between companies revealed the latest industry trends.

In every single country, this event was a great success and the people we met were great! Heye sales partner Natapon Santamas has captured the enthusiasm of Thai customers, “The information presented covered all the important topics and was very insightful and relevant. Participants also enjoyed the friendly get-together and the lively networking dinner with other professionals in the field.“

Already, Heye International is searching out venues for the regional symposia in 2024. These will address the customers’ needs and challenges in the country they are living.

Heye‘s 24/7 Technical Support Centre comprises an experienced team of long-serving employees.

The recently commissioned hybrid technology of Ardagh Glass‘ ‘NextGen’ furnace has already achieved significant reductions in CO2 emissions. Heye has supplied state-of-the-art equipment at the hot and cold end for this world-leading furnace project. At the hot end, this includes everything from feeder to pusher. We have installed two SpeedLine IS machines, designed for the NNPB process and equipped with the new BlankSideRobot, which automatically lubricates the moulds. The equipment at the cold end has been delivered in cooperation with our partner IRIS as a WENSPECT project.
