  Dear customers and friends,

The container glass industry is currently facing a wide range of challenges. It is more important than ever to work with a partner who understands the need for
both reliability and adaptability. At Heye International, we remain committed to guiding you through this difficult landscape with our strategy, 'Focus on the essentials,' ensuring that your operations remain efficient and competitive.

Our approach combines cutting-edge maintenance concepts with smart upgrades, which allow you to replace only the necessary parts of your equipment - without the need for a full overhaul. This helps you save on budgets while ensuring that your machinery stays in top condition.

Moreover, we will be present at key industry events like Glassman Europe in Istanbul this May and China Glass in Beijing as well as Glasspex in India later this year. We look forward to meeting you and discussing how we can continue to support your operation.

Let’s connect and explore how we can best address your specific needs!

Warm regards,

NEXT-GEN SERVO SHEARS:Cutting Edge Precision
UPGRADE YOUR SHEARS WITH IMPROVED ARM

Heye's Dual Motor Shears were a highlight at glasstec 2024, showcasing performance enhancements that improve precision and efficiency. With a decades-long reputation for reliability in the container glass industry, these shears are known for their consistent cutting performance, minimal wear, and accurate gob loading. Key features include high-speed, nearly parallel cuts, and independent servo motors for each shear arm. New upgrades, such as redesigned shear arms and improved gob guides, reduce vibrations and wear, enhancing durability and precision. The shears' modular design allows for easy maintenance and adjustments, improving user experience and reducing downtime. These enhancements are also available as retrofits for existing machines worldwide.

UPGRADE YOUR PRODUCTION WITH NEW SECTION BOXES

By replacing key components of your IS machine with the latest technology, you can enhance efficiency and performance without the need for a full machine replacement.

Save costs, minimise downtime, and maximise productivity! Discover how our Section Box Exchange can help you stay competitive while optimising your production process.

In addition, our production experts can check the status of your feeder and ware handling equipment. Often it makes sense to go for the latest automation technology in order to reduce job change times and to improve the product quality.

UNIQUE IN THE MARKET: Excellent gob weight stability with Heye Rotor Mechanism
FOCUS ON THE ESSENTIALS - PART 1: ROTOR MECHANISM

In your operation you struggle with „banana-shape“ gobs? Have you noticed that fluctuations in your gob weight lead to reduced container quality?
With the Heye Rotor mechanism, these inaccuracies are a thing of the past:

MAIN BENEFITS:

  • Optimal thermal homogeneity
  • High weight constancy
  • Optimal gob forming (no „banana-shape gobs“)

With our “Focus on the Essentials” series, we will highlight critical elements in glass manufacturing that contribute to process stability, efficiency, and product quality.

In Part 1, we take a closer look at thermal homogeneity in the glass mass and how the Heye Rotor Mechanism ensures consistent glass quality from the very beginning of the process.

The Heye Rotor Mechanism is installed at the feeder channel, where it ensures optimal thermal homogeneity of the glass mass. Its toothed ring rotates three paddles, creating a controlled stirring motion that evenly distributes heat. This proven design guarantees reliable performance and a long service life. Additionally, the Heye Rotor Mechanism is compatible with various feeder types, making it a versatile solution for glass production.
