producers, Carsten Sorof has joined glass container production technology specialist Heye International as Sales Manager, Hot end Technologies.
Carsten Sorof spent 13 years at Gerresheimer in Germany, as a Production Manager, Job Change Team Leader and most recently, as Process Engineer, with responsibility for process improvements for all aspects of IS-machine operation. As a Production Manager, Mr Sorof ran a mould shop, as well as machine repair, job change and hot end departments and as a Process Engineer, he supported department managers in their pursuit of continuous manufacturing improvements.
The expertise gained throughout his glass industry career will help Carsten Sorof to build strong business relationships with fellow glassmakers throughout the world and to deliver solutions to their hot end production requirements. He joins an experienced hot end team at Heye International, with the skills to push the boundaries of glass container technology.
